Our small family farm in Miami County, Ohio is dedicated to regeneratively raising grass-fed and grass-finished beef and pasture-raised Tamworth pork. Honest Pastures is a refuge — every animal here has a name, we never use hormones or GMOs, and our cattle never get a bite of grain. Our family and our animals are thriving on this land, and we're thankful we can share a little piece of it with you. Welcome to our farm, where we raise food we're proud to put on our own table — to nourish our family, and yours.
Regenerative Agriculture
One way we farm regeneratively is by moving our cattle daily to improve the land a little each day. It's a practical approach that we use to sustain our fertile soil health, provide better grazing for our cattle, and ultimately sustain a more lively and productive environment. It's all about taking care of our land and ensuring it's in better shape with every passing day as we steward it for the next generation.
Pastured Pork
Another way we farm regeneratively is by letting our Tamworth pigs do what pigs do best — rooting and turning the soil as we move them across the pasture. It's a practical approach that we use to break up tired ground, work manure and organic matter back into the earth, and ultimately wake up soil that's ready to grow something better. Just like with our cattle, it's all about taking care of our land — putting the animals' natural instincts to work so we leave every acre in better shape than we found it, and steward it well for the next generation.

We'd been hunting for a place to get grass raised/finished beef locally and were impressed w how well they ansqered all our questions,etc. The meat was some of the best we've ever tried. It cooks up so well and tastes great! You won't go wrong w them. They've been extremely generous,in spoiling us w a few gifts,as new customers too. While unnecessary,it was thoughtful and kind.

We value buying local and supporting our community. This family makes that decision easy with their high quality operation! I have some health issues that can make digesting red meat a challenge, but I have never had an issue with this beef. I get to enjoy more food buying from Honest Pastures. We've purchased ground beef, steaks, and a variety of cuts for their wholesale half cow. The quality is AMAZING, prices are more than fair for what you get, and the process of ordering/pickup is straightforward and easy!
I absolutely love buying meat from Honest Pastures. It’s so nice to know where the meat has come from and it tastes more fresh than what you buy at the grocery store. I know that the way they keep their farm is not only better for the cows but in return then is better for my family. I love that it’s family owned and just outside of town.

I love the whipped tallow. I use it on my hands, moisturizes them like nothing I have found so far, and it’s natural.
First time buying pastured raised grass fed beef. Amazing!!! We have the peace of mind knowing where it came from and buying local is always nice.
All I can say is the meat was delicious and reasonably priced I definitely will be ordering more, maybe a side in the fall.
This balm is INCREDIBLE. I had to come on after only one use to sing its praises. In one night it has helped heal:

I am in my mid thirties, six months pregnant, and have hard awful water. So the skin on my face has been a train wreck! I have tried expensive organic face lotions, other olive oil/beeswax/honey natural balms which haven’t done anything. After ONE NIGHT the skin on my face looks better than it has in months!
There is a mild scent, my kids say slightly like ghee, but even being super sensitive to smells right now it doesn’t bother me. It does not leave you greasy either if you follow the directions on how much to use.
Truly a wonderful healing product I can feel good about using on the whole family!
