2026 Pastured Pork Wholesale Deposit

This is your reservation for a half or whole heritage Tamworth hog — pasture-raised on our farm, custom cut to your kitchen. We raise only a small number each year, so a deposit is how you claim yours before they're spoken for.

When your hog is ready this October, we'll walk through your cut order together — how you want your bacon, chops, roasts, sausage, and the rest — and have it processed at Caven's Meats just down the road from us. You'll take home a freezer's worth of honest pork you can trace right back to the pasture it came from.

A half fills a freezer for a family; a whole keeps you in pork for the better part of a year, or splits nicely with someone you trust.

Every hog is a little different, but here's what to plan on. Our hogs finish around 275–300 lbs live weight. From that, expect to take home roughly 125–150 lbs of finished, cut-and-wrapped pork from a whole, or about 60–75 lbs from a half — chops, roasts, bacon, sausage, and the rest, cut to your order. Final weight depends on the size of your hog and the cuts you choose, especially boneless versus bone-in.

How your deposit works:

• This deposit reserves your share and applies to your final total — it's not an extra fee.
• Final price is based on hanging weight and is $6.50 lb for a half and $6.00 lb for a whole; plus processing, settled once your hog is processed in October. Depending on your cuts and seasonings, processing can be in the range of $1.00-$1.50/lb on the hanging weight.
• The hanging weight and the processing will be billed as one bill to you and separated out by line items for your convenience. 
• Your balance is due at pickup. We'll reach out to schedule your cut order and your pickup day.
• Pickup will be at Caven's Meats just a couple miles east of Fletcher, or low-cost local delivery in Miami County and the surrounding area.
• We raise just a few hogs at a time, so shares are first-come — reserve early.
